PIGMENT is a shop and an artistic laboratory opened in summer 2015 in Tokyo. People come to find art material including rare materials as much as to admire this exceptional place. The shop was designed by Kengo Kuma & Associates, Japanese designer who was selected for the Associates, the new National Stadium of the 2020 Olympic Games. and Kengo Kuma is to perpetuate and promote the richness of Japanese painting techniques. Also,“ARCHI-DEPOT Museum” recently opened within the building of TERRADA. A storage also functioning as a museum, it’s “the only space in Japan specializing in models of influential Japanese architects, conceptualizing between their preservation and exhibition,”explains Mr. Yuta Tokunaga, director of ARCHI-DEPOT Museum.
